Mathematics Department seeking part-time instructor teaching for MAT 122, Probability and Statistics for the Liberal Arts II. Topics include displaying data, numerical measures of data, elementary probability, discrete distributions, normal distributions, confidence intervals. (4 credits) This position is for the 8-week Spring 2022 Session I, January 18, 2022 – March 11, 2022.

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: • Develop and/or update a class syllabus. • Prepare lectures, project and other student assignments. • Present instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course. • Meet during designated class periods. • Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner. • Provide departmentally sanctioned forms for completing student evaluations. • Build a positive rapport with students and other faculty.
