The Department of Transmedia within the College of Visual and Performing Arts
seeks a Part-time Instructor to teach FIL 124 Filmmaking Workshop: Concepts, a
three credit hour course, during the spring 2022 semester. There are two open

assignments, and create syllabus.
Must be able to make sure the students are able to leave the class being able
to do the following:
Demonstrate an understanding of the complex processes of a film
production, including the various departments and their interactions.
Demonstrate technical skills in the camera, light, sound and editing
departments of film production by creating short etudes utilizing the

· Developing and/or updating a class syllabus.
· Preparation of lectures, projects or other student assignments.
· Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
