The Loyola University Maryland Counseling Center invites applications and nominations for the position of part-time counselor, 9 months. Guided by Loyola's social justice values, the Counseling Center is comprised of a multidisciplinary staff that strives to provide culturally competent clinical services, outreach programming, and training opportunities. We are a counseling center that encourages the utilization of our services by all students. To this end, we seek to provide a safe, welcoming and affirming environment for all.

We seek individuals who are collaborative in nature, have strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail, practice good self-care, maintain healthy boundaries, and possess the ability to manage a challenging workload while promoting a positive atmosphere and healthy relationships.
Duties include: Intake and clinical assessment; brief multi-culturally responsive individual counseling; group counseling and workshops; referral; timely completion of documentation.
This part-time position is scheduled to work 20 hours per week.
