The role/Te mahi
As a trade qualified painter within the Property Services Division, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of high‐quality painting work on the University of Otago Dunedin Campus, to specified standards, in an efficient, cost effective and safe manner.

We are looking for candidates who: • Are Qualified tradesman painters. • Are Client centred with a strong service ethic. • Have critical thinking and problem-solving skills relevant to the position. • Have an ability to easily grasp new processes and technologies. • Are results focussed with the ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and priorities. • Demonstrate excellent general knowledge of materials, equipment and sub- trades relative to the building industry. • Show good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act, and worker responsibilities. • Are Collaborative, with the ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships with colleagues.

This is a permanent, full-time (40 hours week) position, located in Dunedin.
