The Department of Biomedical Services is seeking to appoint a Painter and Decorator to join our small team.

This is a full-time permanent position, 36.5 hours a week.

This new role is to conduct periodic redecoration of spaces and basic building-related tasks at other times. We are seeking a multi-skilled, resourceful person that can work with a minimum of supervision. Applicants should have substantial experience in the discipline and possess the ability to plan work, source materials and estimate how long tasks may take.

The work environment will be mostly scientific laboratories, with offices, corridors and staircases a much smaller element of the remit. Periodic travel to sites across Oxford will be required, plus assisting members of the Engineering team when requested.
