Position Summary
UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health, part of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, seeks to hire a full-time (40 hours per week) Clinical Instructor faculty member. The position will be part of the case management team working closely with Center's community programs based in Carrboro providing assertive case management services in the community.
Case Management Services include support for coordination and support for services such as housing assistance, financial assistance, legal assistance, and financial counseling. The faculty member will provide clinical case management, motivational interviewing, shared decision making, and assist with real world problem solving. The office is located in Carrboro, NC. Partial remote work may be considered.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants for the Clinical Instructor position must have a Master's degree in Social Work or a relevant human services field. Candidates must be fully licensed or at minimum, credentialed with an associate status. The following licenses will be considered: LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC, LCSWA, LMFTA, or LCMHCA.
