Outline

The School of Chemical Engineering High Achiever Award was established to encourage high school leavers to enrol in either Chemical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry in the School of Chemical Engineering.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent); or IB either:
    • in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or
    • in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period
  • Be commencing full-time study in an undergraduate degree program (single or double) in one of the following programs offered by the School of Chemical Engineering:
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering)
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial Chemistry)

    Note: Applicants commencing the Bachelor of Science (Food Science and Technology) are not eligible for this scholarship.

Selection

A separate scholarship application for this Award is not required. Eligible applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic Merit
