The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences has an opening for a full-time tenure or non-tenure clinical track faculty member (Optometrist) in Contact Lens and Primary Eye Care.
Education Requirement:
Doctor of Optometry.
Applicants must have graduated from a fully accredited optometrist residency.
Required Qualifications:
Eligible for licensure in the state of Iowa.
2 years experience in contact lens and primary eye care.
Individuals with a commitment to clinical care and teaching in an academic setting are required for the clinical track position and clinical care.
Certifications:
Candidate must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Academy of Optometry.
Desirable Qualifications:
Previous publications in journals and involvement in optometric professional education is desirable.
