The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists to join the School of Clinical Sciences (SCS) at Monash Health, one of the nine schools of the Faculty of Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University; the third largest school within the Faculty and its largest clinical school. The Operations Manager, Facilities and Infrastructure, manages the operational and OHS aspects of research, teaching, and administrative space and infrastructure for the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health. Reporting to the School Manager, the position provides leadership to the Head of School, Heads of Department, and School Executive in the delivery of high-level professional services and effective achievement of School priorities and provides expert advice at both strategic and operational levels.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for:
This role will utilise your highly developed planning and organisational skills together with your excellent communication skills and your ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will have postgraduate qualifications in Life Sciences and/or extensive experience managing OHS and compliance in a University, Hospital or MRI, as well as highly developed analytical and conceptual skills including a demonstrated ability to deliver positive solutions to complex problems.
