Position Summary
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology in the Department of Pediatrics at The University of North Carolina is seeking a full-time Pediatric academic pulmonologist in an open-rank, fixed-term faculty position.
This faculty position is for a general academic pulmonologist, with a special interest in the long-term care of children with chronic lung diseases and other pulmonary complications related to prematurity. This position will serve as the primary pulmonary consultant for the neonatal intensive care unit and develop a multispecialty clinic for the ambulatory care of such children.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
The successful candidate will have a MD and have completed a Pediatric residency and a Pediatric pulmonary fellowship.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Special consideration will be given to candidates that are American Board of Pediatrics certification or eligibility in general pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology.
