The UNC Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a full-time, academic clinician for a non-tenure track, open rank position in its Division of General Obstetrics & Gynecology. Responsibilities will include full scope obstetrics and gynecology clinical practice, including staffing of labor and delivery, performing major and minor gynecologic surgery and ambulatory practice; teaching of medical students, residents and fellows; and clinical research. Practice locations will be at the UNC Women's Hospital and Hillsborough Hospital. Ambulatory practice takes place in one of our outpatient clinics (Weaver Crossing in Chapel Hill, Hillsborough Hospital &/or Panther Creek in western Wake County). Educational Requirements

Candidates must have a MD or DO degree, and have completed a 4-year, ACGME approved residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Qualifications and Experience

Must be either Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Sub-specialty training is not required, but expertise in the following areas will be given special consideration in the selection process: addiction medicine, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, care for incarcerated women and LGBT care. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
