Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The Department of Radiation Oncology in the School of Medicine at UNC-Chapel
Hill invites applications for a tenure or non-tenure track faculty position
(track and rank dependent on qualifications). We are seeking candidates with
a strong interest in academic research, including laboratory research,
clinical translational research and/or physics-based research. Candidates with
a diverse set of clinical interests will be considered, but candidates
interested in genitourinary tumors are preferred. Typically our faculty focus
on more-than-one clinical tumor site. Thus, applicants should have broad
clinical abilities (optimally including prostate brachytherapy) and must
possess MD degree with subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology and be ABR
certified or eligible.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
