You have a lot of freedom to organise and shape your work in collaboration with your colleagues and the team. Job description Together with enthusiastic colleagues, you support researchers in publishing their scientific work open access. You have good knowledge of the field of open infrastructures and open access publishers supporting the open publication process or would like to deepen this knowledge. You give presentations and workshops on open access (policy). You answer questions on open access and open science-related topics. You maintain a relevant network inside and outside the university to collaborate on the ambitious open science goals. You will work in a dynamic, inspiring and knowledge-rich working environment. Due to your interest or experience in academia and your affinity with the open science goals, you follow trends and developments in the field of (open) academic research and education and see where opportunities lie to realise goals. You turn your own or team members' promising ideas into concrete actions and enjoy working with others to implement a plan from start to finish.

Furthermore, you have an excellent command of English (at least C1 level); for international candidates, we require a minimum command of Dutch (B2 level).
We offer a temporary position (0.8 FTE) for one year in an international working environment. After positive evaluation, this can be turned into a permanent position. The gross salary - depending on previous qualifications and experience - ranges between €2,960 and €4,670 (scale 10 according to the Collective Labour Agreement Dutch Universities) per month for a full-time employment. Salaries are supplemented with a holiday bonus of 8% and a year- end bonus of 8.3% per year.
