hours/week.. Regular weekly meetings with Lead Language Teacher.

Job Summary/Basic Function
Implement the educational curriculum.
Coordinate and administer program: schedule classes and activities, handle
correspondence and administer evaluations.
Conduct regular staff meetings for purposes of communication, logistical
planning and educational improvement of the program.
Under the direction of the Lead Teacher, plan, teach and assess language
classes and activities on line.
Maintain communication with the Lead Teacher on the progress of all
villagers in the class.
Maintain accurate grade records, complete mid-session progress reports and
Participate in all aspects of Village life, including activity classes,
study halls (credit program), song times, evening programs, cultural
presentations and staff meetings. Lead or assist as directed.
Lead games, Cabin Council and other activities as directed.
Complete other tasks as assigned by the Lead Teacher.
Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) or international equivalent (Lead
Teacher & Teacher)
Intermediate or higher proficiency in the Village language, both
conversational and written
Experience teaching the target language and culture (Lead Teacher &
Experience working with youth 7-18 years of age
Teaching licensure, highly preferred (Lead Teacher & Teacher)
Experience as a teacher in the United States school system, preferred
Previous experience with Concordia Language Villages or other experiential
