Position Summary
This is an interest list posting for CIT 262 System Analysis and Design.
Following agile principles, a student leads their team for a sprint. During
this sprint, team members collaboratively progress through the backlog of
work. This course teaches the use of cloud technology through hands-on
interaction with a cloud platform. Students will learn to create containers on
their own laptops, and then to mirror or deploy them to the cloud. Beyond
this, they create a code deployment pipeline that monitors Github for changes
and automates this process. The concept of disruption, explaining the wildly
popular cloud, is discussed in depth in this course. Understanding disruption
will prepare students for the many innovations to come, with strategies to
adopt them successfully.
Online adjunct faculty mentor students and facilitate teaching and learning.
As teaching opportunities for the course arise, interest list applicants
selected for further review will be asked to participate in an online
asynchronous assessment which serves in place of a formal interview.
