Job Title One-Year Lecturer - Psychology

The Department of Psychology at East Tennessee State University invites applications for a one-year, full-time lecturer position beginning August 15, 2022. This position is non-tenurable and is not likely to be renewed; but may be depending on available funding in the second year.

The successful candidate must possess at least a master's degree in Psychology, and is expected to teach 5 undergraduate courses/semester on- ground on ETSU's main campus in Johnson City, TN. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated interest or experience teaching courses in introductory psychology, I/O psychology, design and analysis, behavioral neuroscience, and history and systems of psychology. Specific course assignments will vary as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Psychology Available for on-ground, face-to-face classes in Johnson City, TN

Preferred Qualifications

Evidence of candidates' abilities to contribute to collegiality and good will within our thriving department.

Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated interest or experience teaching courses in introductory psychology, I/O psychology, design and analysis, behavioral neuroscience, history and systems of psychology, and various other courses as needed.

Salary $32,000.00
