The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is seeking applications for a new faculty position based at the UT Southwestern Monty and Tex Moncrief Medical Center at Fort Worth. This facility provides multi-specialty services, including benign hematology and oncology to citizens of Fort Worth and surrounding areas. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school, and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program. Candidates must be eligible for Texas medical licensure, be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Hematology Oncology. The successful applicant will provide clinical care to patients with benign and malignant hematologic disorders and solid tumors and will be expected to be an active participant in clinical trials. S/he will also have some clinical activity at the Dallas main campus and will have the opportunity to develop a specific academic interest through participation in the appropriate program at the Cancer Center.
Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
