Job Summary: The Accreditation Coordinator is responsible for providing coordination of accreditation related activities.
Duties & Essential Job Functions: 1. Serves as data collector and editor of all documentation submitted to accreditation agencies. 2. Helps monitor compliance related to accreditation requirements and assessments. 3. Assists in the development of policies and procedures. 4. Facilitates communication between all stakeholders in the accreditation process. 5. Handles and maintains all accreditation site visit preparations. 6. Collects and prepares data and reports. 7. Assists with institutional and program-specific accreditation efforts. 8. Supervises and coordinates day-to-day administrative operations. 9. Liaises between institution and external individuals and organizations. 10. Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations, codes, and/or accreditation standards. 11. Reviews and analyzes budget reports, and prepares and develops budget modifications and recommendations. 12. Engages key stakeholders whose collaboration or feedback is needed to successfully achieve the goals/anticipated outcomes of the program. 13. Organizes and coordinates meetings, events, and site visits. 14. Supports ongoing quality assurance initiatives. 15. Participates as a resource member of the University Assessment Committee. 16. Participates as a resources member or participates in other committees and search committees as needed. 17. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: • Bachelor's Degree and 3 plus years' professional experience in higher education. OR • Associate's Degree and 5 plus years' professional experience in higher education. Preferred Education & Experience: • Graduate degree. Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training: • None Preferred Licensure, Certification, and/or Specialized Training: • None Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Knowledge of academic assessment and institutional effectiveness processes. • Knowledge of department specific computer software. • Knowledge of customer service techniques. • Knowledge of research techniques. • Skill in Microsoft Office and navigation techniques. • Skill in the navigation of Microsoft Windows. • Skill in Project Management software. • Ability to review and make recommendations to improve and streamline processes. • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing. Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations): • Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information. • Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication. • Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions. • Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting. • Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs. Work Environment:
• Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours.
