Position Summary

Position Title Office Assistant

Department International Student Services Work Schedule Position Summary

The Office Assistant will provide administrative and programming support for the Office for Global Engagement, including supporting domestic and international study away programs and assisting international students.

Required Qualifications

Excellent customer service Ability to take initiative and work independently Cross cultural understanding Basic knowledge of campus services

Preferred Qualifications

Experience studying, living, or working internationally.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibility Customer Service and Organization


  • Manage student inquiries and assist students with scheduling appointments with relevant staff.
  • Assist with annual international student and study abroad data collection and reporting.
  • Assist with May Term Study Experience administrative paperwork.
  • Clean and organize common spaces of the office.
  • Responsibility Programming


  • Support the International Student Association.
  • Organize events for international students and students interested in study away.
  • Assist with all aspects of International Student Orientation (airport pickup, move-in, presentations).

    Promote an Inclusive Westminster through demonstration of the commitments include in the Westminster College Diversity Statement. Participate in developmental activities to increase understanding and awareness of issues related diversity, equity and Inclusion both individually and as related to my filed of work, profession or discipline.

    This is a flexible position based on-campus in the Office for Global Engagement. The student will need to be available for up to 10 hours per week, weekdays between the hours of 8 am – 6 pm. Perfect job for in between classes.
