The nursing department at Northwestern College is seeking a qualified individual to coordinate the Nursing Arts Center and clinical experiences for nursing students. This individual will be responsible for working with nursing faculty and students to coordinate simulation experiences to meet learning needs. Experience and knowledge of technology to use human patient simulators for scenarios as well as maintenance/troubleshooting is preferred. This position will manage the physical lab space by maintaining inventory, adhering to budget, following policies and coordinating scheduling as needed. This position will coordinate and provide oversight for adjunct clinical instructors, evaluating student clinical requirements/immunization/ contracts, clinical placement and scheduling needs. If appropriately qualified, the position could also include some teaching. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required in interactions with nursing faculty, students, IT and other partners. This is a full-time, 9-month position (August-May) with some flexible summer requirements.
