NRI's Annual Review Dissemination Assistant Natural Resources Institute Location: Medway Campus

Salary: £10.42 per hour Part Time Hours: 28-35 Hours Contract Type: Fixed Term Release Date: Thursday 29 August 2024 Closing Date: Friday 06 September 2024 Interview Date: To be confirmed Reference: JS1240

We are looking for a student to provide short term help for mailing out hard copies of the NRI Annual Report to our stakeholders.

The tasks are to assist with:

  • Consultation where necessary, with NRI Director, Heads of Department and Research Centre leads on recommended recipients for the annual review.
  • Review of the draft contact lists provided and elimination of duplicates.
  • Identification through internet searches, of the correct postal address for the organisations and the name/s of the Chief Executive/Director/staff member to whom the correspondence will be addressed.
  • Compile a mailing list and print labels for the envelopes.
  • Prepare the covering letters to be signed by NRI's Director.
  • Assemble the envelopes (address label, signed covering letter, Annual Review and the NRI Strategy leaflet.)
  • Delivery to post room.
  • Applicants must be competent in internet searches and able to conduct the tasks with attention to detail, e.g. accurate spelling of names and addresses, cross checking information etc.

    Estimated time required : 4-5 days depending on the length of the mailing list.
