  • The Director of the Centre for Foreign Language Teaching at University of Warsaw, upon the approval of the Rector of the University of Warsaw, announces a competition for the position of Norwegian language junior lecturer (1 position)

  • master's degree in Norwegian language studies.

  • certification of foreign language teaching qualifications.

  • confirmation of the previous teaching experience including the form of employment and the working hours.

  • certified opinions about the candidate: opinions, class observation reports, excerpts from student evaluation forms issued no later than five years ago.
  • h) certificates of acquired qualifications and completed training sessions.

    Selection process

    Candidates will be informed by email only if they are admitted to an interview.

    The competition will be settled not later than 15 September 2022.

    Information about the results of the competition will be published in the respective official publications (par.5.2 of the UW Rector's Order No. 106) by 15 October 2022

    Offer Requirements Skills/Qualifications

    Responsibilities resulting from the position:

    a) conducting teaching activities in accordance with previously developed syllabi;

  • participation in examination sessions;
  • participation in substantive and organisational activities for the Centre and the University mandated by superior;
  • participation in staff meetings.
  • Specific Requirements

    Requirements:

  • full legal capacity.

  • enjoyment of full civil rights.

  • a clean record of conviction for a deliberate crime or a deliberate fiscal offense.

  • a clean criminal disciplinary record of expulsion from employment in a higher education institution or expulsion from employment with a ban on working in higher education institutions for a period from 6 months to 5 years.

  • completion of a second-cycle studies in Norwegian language.

  • documented experience in teaching Norwegian at a university.

  • documented experience in conducting blended learning courses.

  • foreign language teaching qualifications.

  • completion of in-service training courses, participation in conferences, training sessions and workshops to improve teaching competences.
