The University of Central Arkansas Lecturer is responsibe for teaching, research and service. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. The position is non-tenure track and a nine-month appointment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Department of Biology at the University of Central Arkansas invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer position with opportunities for promotion. Typical appointments begin at the Lecturer I rank. However, experienced candidates may be appointed at the rank of Lecturer II. The primary teaching responsibility will be Microbiology for Human Affairs, which is a microbiology course for pre-nursing students. The candidate will also serve as the microbiology course coordinator. Candidates must show a commitment to work collaboratively to support diversity and inclusion. A desired start date is Jan. 1, 2022; however, accommodations can be made to start August 2022.

Required Education and/or Experience

M.S. degree and higher education teaching experience required.
