OB TITLE: Library Intern, Collections

LOCATION: Goodson Law Library, Duke University, 210 Science Drive, Durham

START DATE: ASAP

PAY: $13.50 with an increase scheduled for 7/1/2022

HOURS: 15-20 per week

The Duke Law Library is looking for an intern to assist with collection- related projects for the summer of 2022 with the potential to continue during the academic year.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze collection in conjunction with collection development policy to make recommendations whether to retain, weed, or move items offsite

Assist with moving materials

Potential to assist with preservation, digitization, and binding activities

Performs other job-related duties as assigned or directed

QUALIFICATIONS: • Current enrollment in a library/information science graduate studies program. For summer positions, you must not have graduated. • Interest in or experience with collection development/management preferred
