  • Position Summary:

    The Department of Journalism and Public Communications is seeking applicants for its non-credit adjunct instructor pool. Our students' stories and Alaska's news starts here. Students learn by doing at the UAA Department of Journalism and Public Communications. They learn and practice the skills of multimedia journalism and strategic communications — skills that are required in almost every field — media, government, business, health and science. Our students get jobs and make meaningful change at the local, state and national level. Applicants for this adjunct pool must be available to work within Alaska during the length of the assignment.

    Duties:

    100Assist with lectures on video and editing. Be available for contact with students and Atwood Chair of Journalism.Essential

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Applicants must be available to work within Alaska during the length of the assignment. Applicants will be evaluated on the suitability of their academic preparation, past experience, and potential for providing high quality instructional support to the Department of Journalism and Public Communications.
