Position Description:

The Division of Nephrology in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine is recruiting a full-time research faculty at position as Associate. This is a termed, non-tenure position with potential advancement through ranks per University guideline. Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent, and several years of productive postdoctoral research experience.

PhD or equivalent

Required Qualifications:

Several years of productive postdoctoral research experience.

The successful candidate will have had hands on experience in mouse genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or electrophysiology.

The applicant must be well published in scientific journals, and be capable of designing, carrying out experiments successfully and independently.

Desirable Qualifications:

Research experience in areas broadly related to the kidney disease such as polycystic kidney disease, cardio-renal, brain-kidney crosstalk is desirable.
