CEMML is a research, education, and service unit within the Warner College of Natural Resources at CSU. CEMML applies the latest and most appropriate science to promote the sustainable management of natural and cultural resources on Department of Defense (DoD) and other public lands. We provide technical support, conduct applied research, and offer career development and learning opportunities to support resource stewardship. We collaborate with our sponsors and other CSU departments to resolve complex environmental issues, leaving a legacy of science-based decisions that sustain our resources for future generations.

Position Summary
Paid, full-time seasonal natural resource management positions (Temporary Technical Support I) are available with Colorado State University's (CSU) Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML) at over 20 military installations throughout the United States. These positions include internships, mentorships, and early career opportunities. Military affiliation is not required to apply for these positions.
If you are a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional that is interested in learning more about federal land management, these positions are the perfect opportunity to build connections and gain hands-on experience that will help you excel in the field of natural resource management. Working under the guidance of seasoned Natural Resource Managers and Specialists, you will get firsthand experience in many of the practical applications of environmental management.
The positions and the associated projects vary by military installation. Each position is intended to provide a set of unique projects and tasks that will help students and recent graduates gain a better understanding of the roles of environmental staff, and the methods they use to directly support their environments.
