Invites applications for the position of:
Nail Technician
Hours: As needed Wednesdays and every 3rd Saturday
Location: 2301 W. Ashton Blvd Lehi, Utah 84043
Status: Part-Time / Non-Exempt
Wage:$ 21.00/hour
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Completes assignments from the Senior Program Coordinator.
Meets with the Senior Program Coordinator regularly and discusses
improvements and progress.
Instructs, manages, and supervises students in classroom and on the
practical floor.
Evaluates instruction/learning by means of written, oral practical and
performance tests.
Maintains student-oriented approach, desirable classroom conditions.
Maintains accurate and current reports and records regarding student
accountability, attendance,and performance.
Maintains a clean environment and helps checks the building before closing
at night
Follows and enforces all rules of the program and MTECH.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Meets with students falling behind to encourage them with an Academic
Improvement Plan
Has working knowledge and skill of up-to-date cutting, coloring and
styling methods, and techniques; knowledge of Nails and basic aesthetics.
Has the ability to advise, instruct, manage, motivate and evaluate student
work in a salon and classroom environment.
Can successfully interact with high school and adult students, parents,
business, and industry representatives, other educators and educational
institution representatives, and the general public in a professional
manner.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma is required
Graduation from an accredited Nail school.
Valid Utah State Nail Instructor's License.
Three years of related experience
MTECH maintains the right to conduct a criminal history background check;
