Essential Job Duties
The Science House is searching for Modeling Science Instructors to deliver
K-12 teacher professional development using the Modeling Instruction pedagogy.
As an instructor, selected candidates will work approximately 10 hours/week
providing professional development workshops on planning, preparing, and
teaching K-12 teachers to use Modeling Instruction. This position will teach
summer professional development and academic year follow up workshops. In
particular, this modeling project is searching for four expert modeling
instructors with a background in biology & chemistry (two biology and two
In addition to the instructor roles, the instructors will also serve as
virtual modeling mentors. Candidates will be contacted as needed according to
the camps/programs needs.
