Mission for Life Program Coordinator/Assistant Residence Director
The Mission for Life Program Coordinator supports the implementation of the Student Development Strategic Plan “Made for Encounter” as guided by their direct supervisor. The Mission for Life program brings into coordination the various opportunities and initiatives for service and outreach university wide, and helps students see themselves as formed for distinction, leading through service, and integrated by relationships.
The Mission for Life Program Coordinator coordinates major University events, tracks completed service, and collaborates with on and off campus partners regarding service opportunities and serves as the secretary of the Catholic Social Teaching, Diversity, and Inclusion Task Force. In addition, the Mission for Life Coordinator is expected to live on campus and serve in a dual role as an Assistant Residence Director.
Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.

Position responsibilities require the appointee to live in a small apartment located within one of the residential facilities on campus. In addition, the University provides the Mission for Life Coordinator and his/her spouse and minor children with a meal plan for when dining service is in operation with the expectation the Mission for Life Coordinator will frequently eat meals among students in the Crow's Nest Campus Restaurant and/or Marauders Cove.
The position requires a work schedule that varies from day to day based on the needs of residents and the Mission for Life office. It includes substantial evening and weekend hours.
