Job Summary

The Regional Admissions Manager independently manages the day-to-day operations of admissions and recruitment within an identified region outside of California. This includes collaborating with leadership to create strategic plans for recruiting, marketing, maintaining, and evaluating any region- specific admissions policies and procedures as required, conducting outreach and providing information and guidance to prospective undergraduate and graduate students and their families, and establishing region-specific recruitment goals and plans to reach enrollment targets. The Regional Admissions Manager is directly accountable for the success of the programs they run in their assigned region. The Regional Admissions Manager will reside in the assigned region and must be adept at maintaining performance and achieving goals while working remotely. The Regional Admissions Manger will utilize strong interpersonal and public speaking skills in presenting Cal Poly's academic programs, its philosophy, admission practices and procedures to prospective students and supporters.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a minimum of supervision in a remote setting.
  • Exceptional time-management, planning, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task, while attending to detail and meeting the demands of multiple deadlines.

    Working knowledge of the admissions process, practices, and procedures, and the ability to independently apply a wide variety of policies and procedures where specific guidelines may not exist.

    Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of progressively responsible experience in a complex organization. A Master's degree may substituted for one year of experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain by date of hire.

    Salary and Benefits

    The anticipated hiring range for this role is $72,000 – $76,000 annually. Note that the offer is calculated based on the background and relevant years of experience of the individual selected.
