Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The Department of Urology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
is seeking a board certified / board eligible urologist for a full-time
faculty position on either the fixed-term or tenure/tenure-track at the level
of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
The individual will serve as a faculty member in the Department of Urology at
UNC. Clinical interests should include sexual dysfunction, hypogonadism, and
BPH, among other areas of Men's Urologic Health. The successful candidate
should be willing to participate in clinical practice and in teaching as they
will serve in the training and education of fellows, residents, and medical
students in the division. The individual will practice primarily at our
community-based hospital nearby to Chapel Hill.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
MD, DO, or equivalent; Board certified/board eligible urologist.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
The successful candidate should be willing to participate in clinical practice
and in teaching as they will serve in the training and education of fellows,
residents, and medical students in the department. Fellowship
training/subspecialty practice expertise in men's health preferred but not
