About the Role We are seeking a Product Development Officer to bring hands on product design, prototyping and manufacturing skills to the multidisciplinary team at MedTechVic. The successful applicant will be able to apply their knowledge and know-how to solve challenges associated with the development of new assistive technology solutions that are cost effective and manufacturable as well as meeting the needs of end users.
You will have a practical, solutions focused approach and be interested in developing the partnerships required to create commercially viable solutions. You will have the opportunity to join and develop projects with industry and community groups and engage in teams in the co-creation of solutions with end users and future customers.

About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
Qualifications A degree in product or industrial design related discipline with subsequent relevant work experience; or experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
