Varied hours between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm Monday through Friday dependent on staffing needs.

Pay Rate $16 per Hour Minimum Experience/Education

Graduation from high and successful completion of a one year formal training course in nursing/medical office assisting at a community college or technical institute; or graduation from high school and a combination of two years of medical/nursing assistant related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

Recent experience providing direct patient care in an outpatient medical setting. Demonstrated excellence in customer service. Experience using electronic medical records. Experience performing lab collection including venipuncture. Experience performing lab testing.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs patient intake for medical clinic appointments. Obtains medical data and vital signs, administers treatments and assists with procedures. Obtain lab specimens.

Other Work/Responsibilities

Occasionally provides medical laboratory services including specimen collection including venipuncture, specimen processing, and lab testing.

Necessary Licenses or Certifications

Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Office Assistant Certification
