    Seeking a highly motivated, proactive, organized and strategic professional.

    Fundraising at Marshall University is managed and coordinated by the Marshall University Foundation, Inc. which has a centralized function for all campus philanthropic activities. The mission of the Foundation is to support and promote the activities and programs of Marshall University. This is accomplished by providing advice and counsel regarding fundraising and philanthropy, investing and managing gifts and pledges for the University and providing a strong base of private-sector support for the University.

    Position Summary

    Reporting to the Program Director of the Annual Fund ( PDAF ), the Annual Fund Coordinator will help to advance the mission of Marshall University by planning, organizing, and implementing strategies to increase annual fund financial support from alumni, parents, and friends of the university. The successful candidate will also plan and implement a campus- wide student giving program including marketing strategies, student centered events, and program evaluation. The Annual Fund Coordinator will be part of the Foundation & Development Services Team providing broad administrative support to the Foundation.

    Qualities and experiences that ideal candidates should display include:

    1. College degree with emphasis in Marketing or Business major/background preferred.

    2. Work experience (minimum of two years) in call center, telemarketing, or direct marketing setting.

    3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, MSWord, Publisher, and Power Point). Experience with CampusCall software preferred.

    4. Excellent communication, leadership, multitasking and prioritization capabilities

    5. Availability to support Marshall Link during active calling campaigns (approximately 26 weeks per year) during non-traditional hours (typical call center hours 3:45 – 7 p.m. Sunday and 5:45 – 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday). SALARY AND BENEFITS
