About the Position
Charles Darwin University is looking for a digital or content marketing specialist to develop, implement, track and report on marketing campaigns across multiple markets and digital channels, including paid search, social, programmatic, web, email, and direct digital. 


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will play a leading role in driving demand for CDU courses and qualifications.  


You will work closely with your skilled and supportive team, external media and creative agencies and a variety of internal stakeholders to optimise campaign performance, utilising your expertise in project or campaign management to deliver projects on time and on budget. 


About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Degree level education and training in marketing or communications, with demonstrable experience working within a marketing department, including digital marketing, content marketing and social media
  • Demonstrated ability to implement marketing strategies and plans, including strong theoretical and practical knowledge of social media, content marketing and digital marketing
  • Demonstrated understanding of consumer lifecycle and buyer personas and the ability to deliver relevant content to each, across various channels
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and an ability to write autonomously, adapt message and tone to target audiences and edit the work of others
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in effective and proactive team work with staff at all levels, recognising the abilities of others and utilising cooperative approaches
  • Experience in content management, planning content strategies and publishing content across digital and social platforms
  • Demonstrated project management and budgeting skills, including the ability to analyse, interpret, report on and effectively apply learnings from varied data sources

Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 6. The base salary will be in the range $83,265 - $88,743 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $97,420 - $103,829 per annum including 17% superannuation.
