  • About the Role Join us in this dynamic role as the Manager, Student and Curriculum Data & Reporting. In this position you are responsible for the management and oversight of the Scheduling, Curriculum Data & Reporting and Data Analytics teams in the Student Support & Delivery sub-portfolio of Student Administration. This team is responsible for the delivery of critical student lifecycle functions and activities, and includes building and publishing the University Timetable, the associated Student Timetabling platform, and building and publishing the Course and Subject Handbook and associated applications.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide expert guidance to functional Team Leaders (in Scheduling & Curriculum Data & Reporting) to ensure these teams successfully deliver their annual schedule of activities to a high standard, are aligned with the broader student enrolment lifecycle and other strategic T&L priorities
  • Supervise the planning and execution of the build plans for the University Timetable, Student Timetable, Handbook and Course and Subject Build, ensuring plans are fully reviewed, with relevant internal and external stakeholders consulted and aligned to ensure these core deliverables play their critical part in enabling a seamless student enrolment
  • Identify opportunities and risks and proactively recommend and explore ways in which the portfolio can improve the student service experience and design plans for action and implementation working with key stakeholders and partners in doing so
  • Who we are looking for We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Manager, Student and Curriculum Data & Reporting, who can demonstrate advanced team and resource management, stakeholder, interpersonal and coordination skills. You will also have high level technical and systems literacy, communication and planning abilities, and strong analytical capabilities.

    You will also have:

  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Management and supervisory experience in a complex organisation and/or service provider or an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or experience within the tertiary education sector, technology, engineering or other relevant sectors
  • Demonstrated experience in student administration services or other shared services environments, requiring deep engagement across all organisational levels including senior leadership
