  • About the Role Join Swinburne University of Technology as the Manager of Resilience & Continuity (R&C) and play a key role in ensuring the efficient and ongoing operation of IT services in the event of a disaster or business interruption. Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you will provide support and advice on IT resumption controls, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, risk assessments, business impact analysis, and more.

    Bring your expertise in R&C lifecycle, SaaS services, vendor management, and strong communication skills to collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, R&C champions, and information security professionals to drive continuous resilience improvements.     About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Subject matter expert in the successful delivery of complex Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery services
  • Demonstrable experience, 5+ years, having worked across complex organisations delivering resilience and continuity services
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive change and enhance culture.
  • Qualifications

  • A postgraduate degree level qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience in disaster recovery and business impact planning
