Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Senior Director, Technology & Training, the Manager will manage a comprehensive learning and development program for university employees. The Manager will develop and deliver employee training programs and courses, new employee orientation, anti-racism programming, well- being programs and develop and implement talent succession initiatives; collaboration with University Personnel leadership, as well as other key stakeholders on campus (ex: the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) is essential. The Manager will oversee customer satisfaction surveys and the Spartans Stepping Beyond program. The Manager will oversee compliance programs such as Conflict of Interest and MPP Outside Employment, as well as all CSULearn activity.

  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources management, public administration, business administration, organizational development/planning/policy, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Three years' experience developing and delivering comprehensive learning and development/well-being programming including 1-2 years of supervisory experience
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in human resources management, public administration, business administration, organizational development/planning/policy, or a related field
  • Five years' experience developing and delivering comprehensive learning and development/well-being programming including 1-2 years management experience in professional development program unit in an academic environment.
  • Compensation

    Classification: Administrator II Anticipated Hiring Range: $9,000/month - $10,000/month CSU Salary Range: $4,583/month - $14,713/month

    The final hiring salary will be commensurate with experience.

    Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment.
