Job Description Summary
The Manager of Recruitment & Engagement for the Art & Drama department is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work with both students and community members and has a passion for the arts! This position will report to the Chair of the Art & Drama department.
The two primary goals of this position are to increase the number of students enrolled in the DMC Art & Drama programs, and to increase the number of community members who attend Art & Drama exhibitions and productions.
This position will provide leadership, management, and hands-on execution for developing strategic and comprehensive student/patron recruitment, retention, and engagement plans. Plans should include strategy, tactics, metrics, and evaluation components that will lead to achievable, measurable, and sustainable efforts. This is done with input from, and in collaboration with, Department Chair, faculty and staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
One (1) year of experience in one or more of the following: marketing, communications, recruiting, arts management, admissions, sales, fundraising, membership or volunteer management or related experiences pertinent to this position.

Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong working knowledge/expertise of Adobe Creative Cloud.
Experience creating or working within customer relationship management (CRM) databases.
Experience in special event management.
Experience in planning and producing social media content on media platforms for a professional (not personal) business or institution.
Basic working knowledge in Graphic Design and Photography.
Experience in marketing and promotions.
Experience in recruiting, admission, fundraising, sales, or nonprofits.

Assist drama & art faculty in identifying prospective students for the DMC Art & Drama programs and maintain communications with prospective students.
Design and execute a comprehensive recruiting and engagement plan for students and patrons.
Work on retaining current patrons and recruiting new patrons.
Work as a recruitment liaison between DMC departmental faculty and area high school art and drama programs.
Build and manage digital databases for potential and existing students and patrons.
Job Duty
Art & Drama Department specialist for project planning, promotion, marketing, and branding.
Position will plan, produce, and coordinate regular and timely content for social media and web presence for the Department of Art & Drama.
Design and execute digital marketing campaigns for the department events.
Design and execute special events with the departmental faculty.
Digital/photo/video documentation of student work, drama productions and art exhibitions.
Design and manage a departmental marketing campaign using print and social media.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Duty
Collaborate with DMC Foundation in efforts to engage patrons regarding philanthropic opportunities to support the program.
Work collaboratively with department faculty, staff, College Relations Office, IT Department and DMC Foundation.
Work collaboratively within the department timelines and calendaring deadlines.
