Base salary will be in the range $111,154.58 - $124,619.84 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8)

Seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead, manage and oversee marketing and engagement activity for the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (BEL). In this role you'll look after the strategic development, implementation and ongoing review of innovative marketing strategies to promote BEL's study programs, research and activities. You'll also play a key role in contributing to the strategic and operational objectives of BEL and the University.
The role involves providing high level advice to support the Faculty, its Schools and research entities to deliver their marketing and engagement goals. Plus you'll lead BEL's high performing marketing team and work closely with key stakeholders in the Faculty as well as the University's central Marketing and Communications team, the Future Students team, and other UQ Faculties and Institutes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead the co-design of strategic and operational marketing activities with internal stakeholders to meet objectives and position the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law for success.
Manage, mentor and lead the marketing team, overseeing campaigns, content, and production.
Develop and implement marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal stakeholders and the central Marketing and Communications team to support student recruitment, retention, fundraising, and research.
Establish and maintain processes, policies, and best practices for marketing, content creation, branding, and social media within the Faculty.
Oversee the planning and development of content and assets (including video) to ensure alignment with key messages, audience needs, and UQ standards.
Work with the central Experience Research and Design team to integrate customer insights into marketing strategies.
Develop and lead targeted marketing strategies to strengthen relationships with industry, government, and alumni partners.
Design and apply performance metrics to measure and report on marketing effectiveness.
Build collaborative relationships across the Faculty to identify opportunities to profile programs, research, and showcase students, staff, and alumni.
Ensure integration and coordination of marketing projects within the BEL Marketing & Engagement function for optimal outcomes.
Maintain the quality and consistency of marketing activities, ensuring alignment with UQ's brand and communication strategies.
Act as a liaison for creative and media agencies, coordinating campaign briefings and activities with the central Marketing and Communications team.

Completion of a postgraduate degree in marketing or related discipline, plus relevant experience; or an undergraduate degree in marketing or related discipline, plus extensive experience and specialist expertise in a related area; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
At least five years' experience in a marketing management role with extensive experience in leading teams and developing successful, integrated marketing plans and campaigns.
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders in a service-based environment, and develop a high performing implementation culture.
A thorough understanding of digital marketing techniques, including performance media, SEO, web management, marketing automation, CRMs and customer analytics.
Demonstrated experience in analysing trends and adapting services and programs accordingly, together with a proven ability to conduct evaluations to enhance service delivery and outcomes and demonstrate return on investment.
Demonstrated ability to manage human and financial resources within a dynamic and changing environment
Integrity, diplomacy and sensitivity in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Ability to work cooperatively and constructively with staff from within the Faculty, its constituent Schools and Centres, and from elsewhere in the University.
Excellent written communication and oral presentation skills
