  • About the Role Lead the future of Melbourne Law School, Faculty of Business and Economics, and Faculty of Education by driving recruitment strategies and managing student applications. Provide exceptional service to prospective students, overseeing a team that builds relationships with key stakeholders and fosters collaboration across recruitment, admissions, and scholarships.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development of integrated marketing, recruitment, and admissions plans with stakeholders. Providing expert advice on market opportunities and growth strategies.
  • Overseeing execution of plans to meet student enrolment goals. Managing teams to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Building strong relationships across teams, including the Future Students Hub. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and service excellence.
  • Who we are looking for We are looking for a leader with excellent communication and collaboration skills who can influence positive outcomes in a complex environment. They should be adept at motivating teams, fostering a positive work culture, and solving problems by effectively applying University policies and IT systems specific to student recruitment.

    You will also have:

  • A qualification in a relevant discipline with extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Proven extensive management experience in a large and complex organisation with an emphasis on student recruitment, admissions and resource management.
  • Demonstrated strategic guidance and experience in developing and delivering on student recruitment and admissions plans, aligning organisational strategies and balancing resourcing demands, preferably within a complex environment.

    This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to- date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
