Working at CQUniversityUniversity's Counselling and Wellbeing Team aims to provide professional and inclusive counselling and wellbeing services that promote student engagement and retention by supporting students with issues that impact upon their studies and personal life. Working directly with students to help identify, develop, and progress their study and health and wellness goals, our objective is to see students succeed in their studies and to promote personal resilience and social and emotional wellbeing through the development of effective coping strategies and study skills.
In this important and dynamic role, you will provide team leadership and operational oversight of student counselling services (including online and tele-health services across CQUniversity's national delivery footprint), with a focus on promoting student retention, positive graduate outcomes and a first-class student experience for CQUniversity's diverse student body. Reporting to the Chief Wellbeing Officer and working collaboratively with the Student Wellbeing Coordinator you will contribute to the development and evaluation of counselling and wellbeing programs and initiatives for students and staff that promote student mental health, wellbeing and practical capabilities.
