The purpose of RMIT's College of Vocational Education is to empower learners and our industry, community, and government partners to succeed in the new world of work. Our planning and resources function puts the student at the centre of our thinking through a precinct-based approach that delivers the right support where it is needed most. This enables us to deliver a consistent student and staff experience with differentiation between whole of college services and bespoke units or functions.
About the role:
The Manager, College PMO will lead the College project team and work closely with Executive and senior leaders to monitor and support the implementation of VE roadmap initiatives and College Annual Operating Plan.
This role will be responsible for the implementation of College projects and will take a lead role in knowledge management and process improvement for the College. The Manager, College PMO will work with a cross-College/University view in regards to monitoring and reporting.
To be successful in this position you will ideally have:
Demonstrated highly developed project management skills and experience, with experience in leading teams to achieve set objectives.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence people at various organisational levels and work collaboratively across functions and areas.
Demonstrated organisational, planning and analytical skills and the ability to articulate and provide progress and status reports.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders to achieve strategic priorities and outcomes against firm timelines and within allocated budget.
Demonstrated ability to conceptualise, develop and deliver innovative solutions.
Relevant experience in a tertiary environment is desirable.
