Our Christchurch campus is home to over 1,000 students. One third are medical students in their three clinical years of training and physiotherapy students in their final clinical year. Two thirds are postgraduate health sciences students undertaking a range of programmes to PhD level.

The role/Te mahi
As a Manager Client Services for our Christchurch campus, you will provide high-quality strategic business and operational support to key stakeholders and develop a supportive and high-performance culture within the wider team.
You will be responsible for managing the provision of administration support and progressing key operational management activities. This role will also lead special projects and quality improvement work.
You will lead a team of 4 Lead Administrators, who support 30 administrators within the 4 portfolios, supporting 11 departments. We are a friendly, high- energy, and supportive team who are committed to developing a supportive and high-performing work culture.

This is an exciting opportunity for highly organised self-starters, who enjoy problem solving and have demonstrable leadership experience.
This role will see you working in collaboration with Senior Leaders, so your strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills will be valuable in ensuring your success in this position.
You will provide leadership, support and coordination to all administrative functions of the campus via support to Lead Administrators and Client Services Administrators on a daily basis, working closely with the Senior Manager Client Services.
Operational aspects of the role will include the oversight of the “reception” functions, transactional finance and other student focussed activities. This role is vital to the smooth running of our campus.

The Manager Client Services roles are part of the Shared Services Division, a team of highly skilled professional staff responsible for delivering an outstanding student and staff experience through high quality, effective service delivery to the University's internal and external customers.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
