About the Role:
This is an exciting time to be joining the Estates & Facilities Services as we seek to recruit a series of key maintenance roles including Supervisors, Craftspersons, Operatives and a Technician to further strengthen our Asset Management team responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of the University's building mechanical/electrical systems and equipment.
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Operative Team Leader based at our Cambridge campus with repair and maintenance skills. You will use diverse tools and equipment to undertake a range of tasks, prepare cost estimates and documentation for works undertaken related to the built environment.
You will hold a trade qualification equivalent to level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ with hands-on field experience, ideally gained in a multi-site environment with previous responsibility for overseeing the assignment of tasks and the work of maintenance operatives, basic IT and numeracy skills and possess a customer-centric ethos then we'd love to hear from you.
