​To provide mail and parcel processing, distribution, and customer service for University departments, faculty, staff and students.

Essential Functions

Essential Function Category Title Complete mail distribution and delivery

  • Receive and sort incoming and outgoing mail/packages for distribution and shipment.
  • Provide on campus pickup and delivery of mail to departments and student pickup and delivery at mail services location.
  • Use tracking software to ensure tracking of all packages/mail and in lockers.
  • Receive USPS, UPS and FedEx shipments at mail center.
  • Operate Pitney Bowes postage meter and scale for processing outgoing mail.
  • Delivery of mail a variety of ways including via Mail Services Vehicles
  • Be cautious of students and community members all around campus while delivering.
  • Ensure mail discounts when available utilizing software for comparison.
  • Research and readdress return mail to include forwarding.
  • Responsible for inventory of supplies.
