Position Description:

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care Medicine, and Occupational Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics is seeking applications for a non-tenure track BC/BE academic pulmonologist with a clinical interest in lung transplantation. This position will have outpatient procedure, transplant, and general pulmonary/critical care responsibilities as well as inpatient call/transplant coverage that will vary based on the experience and interests of the successful candidate.

Education Requirement:

MD degree or equivalent

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must have demonstrated outstanding abilities and skills in teaching, organizational management and clinical medicine.

Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency Program.

Certifications:

Board certification or board eligibility in both Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease.

Desirable Qualifications:

Advanced training in advanced lung disease management, lung transplantation, and/or pulmonary hypertension.
