The University of Essex is looking for a Senior Technician to join Digital Innovation and Technology Services. You will be part of the Learning Environments Technology Systems (LETS) team, who deliver AV and IT support for University staff, teaching spaces, meeting areas, conferences and commercial events.

You will be the technical expert, problem solving lead for a talented team of technicians looking after a fleet of 6000 desktops. Using your experience and knowledge, excellent communication skills and team working you will be driven to seek out innovative solutions that enable our academics, students and colleagues to be the best they can be.

As a fast-growing University, you will be looking to implement scalable and efficient processes to not just improve business as usual but to provide the very best support for high profile, business critical events such as Graduation, Clearing, Welcome Week and Registration.

A full list of duties and responsibilities and applicant requirements can be found within the job pack.

The post is based at Colchester campus, occasional travel to Loughton is required, and comes with an excellent benefits package.
