Teach a credit-bearing coursein winter term, 2022 as part of the School of
Music, Theatre & Dance arts leadership curriculum (THTREMUS/ARTSADMN);
deliver exemplary teaching that leverages current best practices from the
theatre producing sphere, integrate professional producing experience; provide
mentorship and guidance for enrolled students; provide timely, detailed
feedback to students on all coursework and assignments.
Extensive professional theater producing experience in an independent context;
additional experience interfacing with established theatre companies and
infrastructures a plus; prior demonstrated success working with tertiary
performing arts students; experience advancing diversity, equity and inclusion
priorities and working with diverse populations; ability to modify course
content to meet students of various backgrounds, and to calibrate nomenclature
for students across the university (e.g. Performing Arts Management Minors
who may be enrolled while pursuing majors outside SMTD).
